Captured by Munfisj

It was the morning of November 20th, 2010; I was eating my breakfast as I usually do before going to school. My mom came to me and told me that my school bus was outside already; it was very weird because the bus normally arrives at 6:30a.m and it was 5:45a.m. I ran into my room to grab my backpack and my blackberry, so I could leave for school. When I got on to the bus, I noticed that the chauffer was not Manuel, it was another man. This one was weird looking, he was about 2 meters tall and his eyes were turquoise. I walked a few steps and sat beside a Chinese girl, she was in tenth grade just as me. We were talking about the big party she would do for her birthday. “Hey, Kiyomi Kio, did you notice that the bus chauffer is a bit weird” I told her. She did not answer my question, but told me that we were not following the same school route as usual. I began to worry, so I asked the chauffer where was he taking us, and he told me that we were taking a shortcut. It was really weird because it was 6:30 in the morning, and there was no need to take a shortcut.

The bus finally stopped, but not at school; the chauffer told us that there was a problem with the engine, and that we needed to get out the bus, and we did. After a while two blue creatures appeared out of nowhere; they had big oval turquoise eyes and I noticed that one of them had Michael Jackson´s glove in its right “hand”. The creatures walked to us and grabbed all the students, except me; because I was reserved for Mr. Chauffer. I saw two big red lights, and then I fell unconscious. When I woke up, I was lying down on a bed, and was surrounded by all these weird creatures and Britney Spears. I asked Britney Spears why was she there, and she said rudely, “excuse me, but I am not Britney Spears, I am Paris Hilton, and all these Munfisj (blue creatures) are my BFF´s. I was really confused.

               I have already been here for about two months, and we have still not arrived to planet “Discombobulatefurphy”, which means a confused portable water-container. My days here have been horrible, even though I like the food. Yesterday I ate maugDounjalds. I really miss my mom´s food, and I miss her and my dad. Fatima Mariah, the ship´s secretary lets me call my mom and dad two times a week; a week in planet “Discombobulatefurphy” is about 2 hours in Earth, so my mom gets really mad at me because I call her each hour. Mr. Chauffer, the captain of the ship told us that we will need to change from this ship to another because it has no sufficient power to cross the chocolate Milky Way. We were changed to a ship called Oasis of the stars. The first two days in Oasis were boring because we did not have a casino and room service sucks. Finally, we got to the chocolate Milky Way which was 30 miles from our destiny; Sikaffy a friend from the school bus really liked this place, specially the chocolate part of it. Sikaffy stared at chocolate bunnies from the window for three consecutive hours a day. One day he was smoking a pen, and he smoked so hard that he drank all the ink from it, it was so funny.

We were about to land on “Discombobulatefurphy”, when I discovered a hot pink wooden door; it looked like my sister´s door. I walked three steps to get to it, then I opened it slowly, like in scary movies; suddenly I entered the door… There is nothing like freedom.

The current event that the article deals with is about a man who was killed in London about two weeks ago, but was found dead Monday 23 by the police. Police say that he was a spy from the government, and that was killed because of his confidential information. The victim was called Gareth Williams; he was thirty years old and was found dead in his apartment. The Police and the foreign office showed up in the case; they refused to comment on press reports. The main problem about this article is that it has very little information because of the confidential information it contains. Many things are left out of this article; like for example, they could have at least say how was killed, and what did the autopsy demonstrated. I think that this article is very interesting because of the type of event that is happening. A death of a spy is not something you hear about every day.
