Good afternoon American colonists,
As you can know, the British had been treating us like animals and as slaves,
But why shall we stay like this, if we can make a change; to have freedom.
We need to stop this, even if we are nothing besides them, for them,
They think we are alone, but, we are not.
Patrick Henry has proposed good ideas, but they are not convincing to me.
He said, “I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past (Henry), I think that what he said is not correct in any matters.
We cannot judge the future by the past, because God gave us heart to forgive and the ability to change for good.
Instead of practicing what he said, we all should unite, and talk about our liberty, but the reason should not be for what they did to us, but, for what we want. And, if then, this stays the same, let it be war.
“In vain, after these things, may we indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation. There is no longer any room for hope” (Henry). This is a statement that I am personally totally against, and you should all be, because hope, I believe it is a spark from a turned off candle, that always has an opportunity to shine again. We should not be closed minded at all.
I propose all of us to talk things away, and let it be God the one who fixes all our problems. He will do what is best for us.
